ST. LOUIS-Mark McGwire is back in baseball, reunited with Tony La Russa as the St. Louis Cardinals’ hitting coach.
Cardinals manager Tony La Russa will return for a 15th season at the helm of the reigning NL Central champions, and Mark McGwire will be joining him to take the place of Hal McRae as hitting coach.
